Reconnecting Twerton Visit Swindon Town FC

On Wednesday 24th May our Reconnecting Twerton group made the short trip to Swindon to visit Swindon Town FC Community Foundation and the County Ground. Thanks to support GWR the group were able to travel for no cost and thoroughly enjoyed the journey. Reconnecting Twerton we’re introduced to Swindon’s Staying Connected group. STFC Community Foundation provided tea and coffee, and put on an excellent general knowledge quiz. A fantastic tour of the community facilities and stadium was followed up with a lovely buffet lunch, kindly provided by STFC Community Foundation, before heading home on another GWR train. The experience was well received and Bath City FC Foundation hope to work closely with STFC Community Foundation again in the near future.
