Year 5 & 6 Girls Football Tournament

On Thursday 18th May Bath City FC Foundation hosted a girls football tournament with the School Sport Partnership for Bath and North East Somerset. Over 150 girls from years 5 and 6 attended, representing 18 schools. The tournament was a fantastic opportunity to play on the Twerton Park pitch and showcase the incredible growth, and commitment to, girls football in the Bath area. We were kindly joined by Bath City FC players Joe Raynes and Tara Taylor for the trophy presentation. Tara commented that “It’s amazing to see so many local girls that have the opportunity to play”. The girls loved meeting both Tara and Joe. Our overall winners were Moorlands Junior School and runners up were Weston All Saints Primary School (W.A.S.P.S).
