For the first time ever we have charity places in the Bath Half Marathon for 2025!

Bath City FC Foundation has secured 10 places for the upcoming 2025 Bath Half Marathon. We would like  to give you the opportunity to represent the Foundation and raise crucial funds. These will go directly to us and help to continue delivery of our community projects.

Last year we engaged with over 3,500 members of our community in Twerton and the wider BaNES area. Our Foundation is located in one of the most deprived areas of the country and is often overlooked, because of the international image of Bath. This leaves many unaware of the need for our provision.

Our work goes beyond football as we work with people aged between 3 and 97! This could be delivering in schools, our crime prevention workshops, 1-2-1 mentoring, pan disability sessions, walking football, social inclusion for seniors, women’s and girl’s participation and more.

Our aim is to enable positive change in our community which improves residents’ mental and physical health and wellbeing. Funding such as this is extremely hard to come by for organisations like ours so every £1 you raise will really make a difference!

How do I get involved?

Fill in the expression of interest form which is linked at the bottom of the page. Please include as much detail as possible. With general allocation now sold out we expect these charity places to be popular.

What do we want?

We are asking you to pay the entrance fee of £55 for the bronze bond place, this will secure your place in the half marathon. Obviously we would love you to aim high when it comes to fundraising but we are asking for a minimum target of £250 per foundation representative. Participants must be aged 18 or over.

What do we offer?

You will get entry to one of the most popular events in the area. We will signpost you to training plans and help you promote your fundraising efforts plus more…..

Each runner will get a Foundation running top, tickets to a home game at Twerton Park and a safe place to store valuables on the day. In addition, if you raise £500 you will get half your registration fee refunded to you and if you raise £1000 you will get a full refund on the registration fee plus a Bath City shirt for your efforts.
